Hebe speciosa  ‘Variegata’ is a New Zealand native plant. The first reference to it appeared in 1854 in the Floricultural Cabinet and Florist Magazine.
It has a dense, bushy, evergreen rounded shrub (1 m or more high) It has broad spear-shaped glossy gray-green leaves (6–10 cm) long, with irregular cream margins and undersides of grayish lavender.
Small 7 cm clusters of violet-purple flowers come in summer.
