The Friends of Te Henui (FROTH) was formed in September 2008 with the aim to provide a community 'voice' for the Te Henui Valley and New Plymouth the area..
OUR GOALS:
Enhance the natural beauty of the area by assisting Parks staff with maintenance.
Assist in identifying and highlighting plant collections.
Identify the local Taranaki flora and list their individual information on this web site.
Identifying the local fauna and list their individual information on this web site.
Identify and highlight historical features in the valley.
Develop a photographic bank of copyright free images of all flora, fauna for use by schools etc..
Work with Forest and Bird Society and DOC to conserve the natural values.
