Pratia pedunculata is an evergreen small leafed low growing soft-wooded perennial which is a native to Australia - New South Wales, South Australia, Tasmania and Victoria. It likes the soil to be constantly moist to usually boggy.
This species makes a good ground cover (0.02m high 2m wide) spreading and taking root at the nodes.
In spring and early summer it bears star shaped 5 petaled flowers, usually mid blue. Very frost hardy.
